Processional Gateway

The first four images show the model as originally designed, a stand-alone object; later, I incorporated it into the city's ancient walls.

There should be a line of sphinxes or similar creatures on either side of the gate, but I can't model organic shapes (a commercial library is far too expensive for amateur use), and the gonfalons (based on their solar system) still aren't finished. The horses were made from a free font set containing hieroglyphs, available from a few sites relating to Egyptology, including Guardian's Egypt.
